Zafira’s workshops:
1. Tribal Fusion 9/8 and balken – using Turkish and Balken moves with ATS using a wide skirt Some of the workshop will be Fast and some Slow and Sensual
2. Sword – was used in ancient times in the middle east and has in modern times devloped into an art. It is powerful and sensual. We will learn how to use the sword in your dance routine, the differnt ways that you handle it and it can bring that extra somthing. Please bring knee pads and a viel and of course if you have one a sword
Valerie Romanin’s workshops:
1. Karsilama (9/8 Turkish Rhythm) – In this workshop you will explore the Karsilama rhythm and learn different way of interpreting it. Full of practical exercises and information, this workshop will give you the opportunity to increase your sense of rhythm and enhance your dance. Bring comfortable clothes such as stretchy trousers or skirt and a strip scarf to tie around your hips – Improver Level
2. FRINGE: Rumba Flamenca – Learn a joyful and energetic barefoot Flamenco Rumba. Enjoy dancing this choreography in different patterns (duet, group of four/circle) to improve spatial awareness. Bring a large and long skirt (not compulsory but helps to get in the mood) – Open Level – Suitable for all.
3. FRINGE: Rhajasthani Dance – Kalbelia – dance form of Rajasthan performed by the Kalbelia snake charmers community.
Donna Gardner’s workshops:
1. ATS – Leading For the Terrified! – Do you forget everything you know when you lead? Do you try to throw everything into the mix,… lose the downbeat… panic…, imagine you’ll never be able to improvise and revert to choreographies?
Donna will show some tricks to help you lead with confidence. This workshop is suitable for dancers with some knowledge of tribal moves from any format.
2. ATS Stick – New Workshop
Raheesha’s workshops:
1. Double Veil – Build a repertoire of double veil effects as Raheesha reveals of number of exciting moves with two veils, covering the fundamentals of spins, anchored and unanchored moves, taksim and travelling moves to creating graceful transistions and choosing the veils and moves that’s right for you.
2. FRINGE: Drama Queen Learn to add drama to your dance and tell a story through your dance
Ewa Horsfield’s workshops:
1. Arabesques Melt into the movement with arabesques, from earthy folkloric to dynamic contemporary. Bright light veil.
2. Dynamics of Performance - Connect with the audience through the use of accents, changes in dynamics and through telling the story.
Clair McGregor’s workshop:
1. Getting to Grips with Baladi - Introduction to Egyptian Baladi Style
Lynne Chapman’s workshop:
1. FRINGE: Burlesque Movement – It’s not about what you do, it’s how you do it that counts! – But sometimes you need a few pointers and a bit of inspiration. This workshop is all about glamour and elegance and how to tap into your natural sex appeal, it is all about the tease….. Please bring some evening gloves and a pair of high heels (dont worry I will show you how to walk in them!) Feel free to dress as Fabulously as you want!!

Ozgen’s workshop:
1. Drum Solo – Learn some fiery and dynamic Turkish style drum solo with our superstar resident dancer and teacher.
Fareshteh’s Workshop:
1. 100 Shimmies – Learn all the shimmies in the book with this energetic and fun workshop
Tati Hafsa’s workshop:
1. Egyptian Street keep it real! – Learn some fun and upbeat moves from the streets of Cairo in this shaabi style workshop. A short routine is included.
2. MASTERCLASS: Contemporary Bellydance fusion - Learn to think outside the box and to express yourself by using techniques from contemporary dance. Make the audience FEEL your dance and not just watch it!
Pauline Qu’s workshop:
1. Dance into the Shadowlands – A journey into the Zaar/trance dance – Explore the shadow world of trance dance, letting go of inhibitions, negativity and fears to energise your soul and free your spirit. – High energy Open Level.
Asif Qu’s workshops:
1. Introduction to Arabic Drumming Rhythms and Techniques – Beginner level workshop aiming to teach you rhythms from the 3 main families of Middle Eastern music including Fellahi, Malfouf, Saiidi, Baladi, Maqsoom, etc
2. Middle Eastern Rhythms – Fills and Thrills – Intermediate level workshop where you will learn different types of fills, finger rolls, decoration and timing.
Twisted Sisters’ workshop:
1. Twisted Divas – improvisation with attitude - Leave your inhibitions at the door and learn how to entertain your audience with confidence and charisma.
Suely Moreira’s workshop:
1. FRINGE: It’s Carnival Time! – Learn to Samba like those gorgeous passistas from Rio de Janeiro. Some really fun and energetic moves for you to fuse with your Bellydancing or simply do it on its own. Very energetic workshop!
Bryan Rainbow – House of Ahad:
1. FRINGE: Streetdance – Funky up your moves with this fantastic skillful workshop. Learn some amazing pops and locks while dancing to the modern western beats. Great opportunity to learn some new moves to fuse with you bellydance.
